Oooh oooh oooh! I had one of my first book signings at a Primerica meeting. Okay, it wasn't really a book signing because they weren't expecting me - okay, they didn't know who I was. But I was there and they were there and I had a backpack of books and since I had no intention of selling Primerica stuff I reached down deep inside of myself and asked the question: "Lord, why am I here?" and the response was - "Sell Books." So there you have it - it was like an unofficial book signing.

The thing was the day before (Wednesday) - I got a ticket for expired tags (expired in March) and not having a front license plate on my car - so I zoomed over to DMV - or MVA in Maryland to get my mess straightened out. When I was leaving a man approached me with the "you looking to make some extra money?" line. Not knowing what I had to do to make this "extra money"  I said no. He got a little persistent, so I did too - "Look, I don't need no extra money but I do have books in my trunk, wanna buy one or two?" So he purchased one and really satisfied with my parking lot transaction (had to make the money to pay fo' the ticket) I agreed to go to the Thursday night Primerica meeting (its all about support). The meeting was so cool - I met some wonderful people who not only purchased my book but set me up with some contacts so that I could get other avenues to sell books.

So to the Alexandria Warriors - I say thanks and I'ma see ya'll again at some of your functions cuz ya'll know how to have fun. Oh and Clarence if your reading this - you know I'm exaggerating mannnnnn!!!!
