Four more days to my book release party - and I am nervous - scared - anxious. What I still have to do:
- figure out what to wear -
- finish cleaning my house -
- go grocery shopping to feed my peeps (at the house that is - my family's rolling deep - I'll be housing about 15 people) -
- go over last minute setup details with the crew at the ABHM -
- get with the Hurston Wright foundation -
- make programs -
- design a program -
- write a finale poem (yeah yeah yeah - I know all the poems are s'pose to be written but I got this bomb ass idea) -
- rehearse and I gotta stop I'm getting overwhelmed (did I mention toes - nails and hair).
What I am grateful for:
- Family driving and flying miles and miles and miles to see me (Wamp - andrea - my sisters - mother grandmother aunts cousins -------
- Friends who are doing the same and helping me to figure out everything that needs to be done and volunteering to do it before I can even fix my lips to say "help".
